Adnami and Alma Media expand partnership

Adnami has announced the expansion of its partnership with Finnish publisher and media company Alma Media.

Adnami and Alma Media expand partnership
Ville-Joonas Appel: "The expansion of our partnership with Alma Media is a milestone for both companies, and I’m truly excited about what’s ahead.”

Adnami states it has been working with Alma Media since 2022, initially offering a limited selection of Adnami's formats on a few of Alma Media's sites. As advertiser demand grew, Alma Media recognised the value Adnami brought to its portfolio and decided to expand its offering to include additional formats across a wider range of sites, added the company.

Adnami says Alma Media has integrated several of its high impact ad formats into its offerings, including:

  • Desktop Topscroll
  • Desktop Midscroll
  • Desktop Inline Midscroll
  • Desktop Skin
  • Mobile Midscroll
  • Mobile Topscroll
  • Double Mobile Midscroll

These formats are now seamlessly compatible and certified across a broader range of Alma Media's digital assets, notably well-known Finnish sites such as Iltalehti.fi, Kauppalehti.fi and Nettiauto.com, added Adnami. This expansion empowers advertisers to deliver attention-grabbing campaigns to a wider audience, leveraging the trusted environments of Alma Media's platforms, Adnami continued.

Susanna Laitinen, product lead at Alma Media, shares: “Adnami has been an excellent partner, always responsive to our needs and quick to implement new features. Working with them has been both productive and enjoyable, and collaboration with our main contact Ville-Joonas Appel has been superb!”

Through this collaboration, Adnami says Alma Media has gained valuable insights into attention metrics and how different media sites perform in terms of several KPIs, including Effective Attention per Mille (eAPM). The expansion of Adnami’s solutions is expected to provide even more opportunities for advertisers to achieve results both in terms of attention and other KPIs, added the company.

While the company says Alma Media's previous Adnami offerings received positive feedback from advertisers, the newly expanded range of formats and sites represents the next phase of the partnership. The expectation is that these additional formats will further enhance advertisers’ ability to engage audiences and drive impactful campaigns, continued Adnami.

Susanna Laitinen, product lead at Alma Media, adds: "We are committed to continuously evolving our ad offerings by experimenting with new formats and closely listening to our clients. In the coming years, we see a strong focus on integrating attention metrics into ad product development, ensuring even better campaign performance for advertisers".

Ville-Joonas Appel, commercial director Finland at Adnami, says: "The expansion of our partnership with Alma Media is a milestone for both companies, and I’m truly excited about what’s ahead. Alma Media’s trust in Adnami as an AdTech partner motivates us to push the boundaries of digital advertising innovation. This collaboration is a two-way street - we not only bring new solutions to Alma Media but also gain invaluable feedback that helps us refine our technology and services. Ultimately, our shared goal is to maximise campaign effectiveness and visibility for advertisers across Finland and internationally."
