Air Business renews partnership with PPA

Air Business, the global distribution and subscriptions company, says that being the strategic partner of the Professional Publishers Association (PPA) for the ninth year running reinforces its loyalty to the UK publishing industry.

Since its inception in 2010, the relationship between Air Business and the PPA has been a strong one. Over this time, Air Business has acted as the premier sponsor of the PPA’s leading industry events such as the annual PPA Festival and PPA Awards. It will once again be a main sponsor of these flagship events as well as its other more specialist ones this year, starting with the PPA New Talent Awards in London on the 22nd March.

The renewal of this partnership also coincides with Air Business signing the National Literacy Trust’s Vision for Literacy Business pledge for the second year in a row; demonstrating its wider commitment to publishing and its belief in the positive influence this industry has upon UK society.

Barry McIlheney, PPA CEO, comments on the continued partnership: “It is great to be extending our already strong relationship with Air Business for the ninth year running. Having worked with Air Business for almost a decade now, I can genuinely confirm its whole-hearted loyal and pro-active support of publishing. As publishers now seek to grow their presence in new sectors, Air Business is evolving to fully meet their needs and thus support the dynamic growth of this sector.”

Adam Sherman, Air Business Group Managing Director, adds: “Having served the publishing market for over 30 years now, supporting publishers is very much at the heart of who we are as a business. We are therefore delighted to have been selected as PPA Strategic Partner once again for 2018 and are completely committed to being more than just a distribution and subscriptions supplier for publishers, but a partner who will fully support them in multiple areas as they move into new markets.”
