Another win for F1 Colour

F1 Colour have won the pre-press contract on Slimming World magazine, and have just produced the July issue.

Launched in 1998 from Slimming World’s headquarters in Derbyshire, the magazine was, says the publisher, an immediate success and has retained its position as the best seller in the women’s slimming sector ever since. ABC figures released in February this year saw Slimming World Magazine’s circulation figures rise to 291,787 - the highest ever for a magazine in this sector, continues the publisher.

Published seven times a year, Slimming World Magazine is a paid-for customer magazines, with around half of sales made within the organisation’s 6,000 slimming groups across the UK. The other 50% of magazines are sold to consumers through the newstrade.

“We are obviously very pleased to be working on such a successful title and with such a professional and friendly team at Slimming World. We increased sales by 23% last year and will be looking to continue that growth this year with quite a few pitches and projects on-going,” says Ken Harrison (pictured), MD of F1 Colour.

“Slimming World is delighted to be working with F1 Colour. The transition went smoothly, and we’re very impressed with their level of customer service and also with the quality of their work. What’s more, F1 are a great team to work with,” says Jan Boxshall, Head of Marketing and Communications at Slimming World.
