CPL One Group has announced that current and future clients are set to benefit from On the wire, a new product launched by CPL One Group this month.
Using AI technology to source and generate relevant industry news stories, it delivers real time, copyright-clean content drawn from millions of open sources worldwide, says CPL One Group.
Every item for On the wire is written as original content and checked against multiple sources, the company continued. By combining this AI-generated fact-checking technology with close oversight from its editors and journalists, the company says it ensures On the wire creates content readers can trust.
In addition to creating trusted content, CPL One Group says On the wire is:
- Fast: Generates multiple stories quickly, ready for subbing and publishing
- Value-adding: Provides content to drive more website traffic and more revenue opportunities
- Cost-effective: Means less time spent on researching and drafting content
- Targeted: Frees up skilled journalists for high-quality interviews and analysis
“On the wire has the potential to be a game changer for our clients and the industry sectors they serve,” says CPL One Managing Director Mike Sewell. “It researches and generates industry-specific daily news stories far more quickly and more cost-effectively than has been possible up to now.
“Crucially, and in line with CPL One’s ‘humans always in charge’ mantra, our trained journalists stay closely involved in checking the quality of the stories. However, it also frees up time for them to focus on writing high-quality interviews and insight pieces that AI will never be able to match.”
In time, CPL One Group says On the wire’s capacity to draft fast, accurate and targeted content should also open up the potential for its sales teams to generate additional commercial revenues. For example, newsletters containing On the wire stories could be targeted at certain industry sub-sectors, creating opportunities for sponsorship, display and native advertising.
CPL One says it has trialled the software with FIDI Global Alliance and is now ready to roll it out to other CPL One and Cabbells clients.
“On the wire can become a significant part of the content mix,” adds Mike. “We’re looking forward to demonstrating it and showing its power.”
CPL One Group explains how On the wire works:
- CPL One holds a bespoke licence with Noahwire AI
- Noahwire scans millions of articles every day, restructures them into clean copy and delivers consistent outputs for human editors
- Targeted prompts means the software focuses only on stories relevant for specific sectors
- Can link directly to the back-end of client’s website or content hubs
- Journalists then edit and publish stories from the content management system
- Each story includes links to its sources and is verified via bespoke Noahwire FactCheck Pro software.
