UK publisher and pharmacy training provider Communications International Group (CIG) has announced it has hired Sonya Reuther as its new digital editor, in its latest move to further strengthen its digital footprint.

With over 20 years of expertise in publishing, media, and communications, Sonya brings with her a strong record of driving digital transformation and editorial excellence, added the company.

In her new role, CIG says Sonya will lead its digital editorial strategy, ensuring delivery of high-quality, impactful content that aligns with the company’s mission to empower the UK community pharmacy sector via the latest insights, strategies and learning tools.

According to the company, her responsibilities will include working closely with CIG’s editorial team, optimising content for digital platforms; and utilising data-driven insights to boost audience engagement and value.

Sonya’s career highlights include her tenure as content editor for The Michelin Guide, where she served as head of editorial and digital content operations for North America and a number of international regions. In this role, she spearheaded transformative digital initiatives that grew online audiences and forged strategic partnerships with world-renowned brands including Rémy Martin, San Pellegrino, and BMW.
