The special collectors’ edition will form part of a summer of celebrations in which Classic Boat will showcase some spectacular J-Class yachts and run a series of articles on legendary America’s Cup skipper Charlie Barr, which will include rare archive photography never previously published.
Classic Boat is one of three titles in The Chelsea Magazine Company’s new marine portfolio. The others are Yachts & Yachting and Sailing Today, which itself celebrates its 200th issue later this year.
The Chelsea Magazine Company is now offering its three yachting titles in a single pack at leading supermarkets.
The three titles, Classic Boat, Yachts & Yachting and Sailing Today are packaged together as the Complete Sailing Set at a cover price of £5.95 – less than half the combined cover price of all three titles.
“It’s a great opportunity for sailors who would normally buy one magazine to sample a fresh yachting title at a fraction of the usual cost,” says Paul Dobson, MD of The Chelsea Magazine Company.
The Complete Sailing Set is available at Tesco and Sainsbury throughout 2013.
