In her role, Ms Carbonell will be focused on developing an integrated communications strategy for Forbes Media that reinforces the business objectives of the company. She will lead the Corporate Communications team in developing and executing public relations campaigns and will help support the company's marketing and branding programs.
"Mia has a longstanding career in the media industry and digital space, bringing with her deep corporate communications experience from Rodale, Time Warner and Vivendi Universal," said Perlis. Ms Carbonell has previously served as SVP of Corporate Communications for publisher Rodale, and also worked in communications at Vivendi Universal and Time Warner. She began her career in media as an on-air TV journalist in Miami.
