FourFourTwo announces new international partnerships

FourFourTwo has announced multi-platform content partnerships in two new countries – The Netherlands (with Voetbal International) and Kenya (with Soka).

Under the terms of the new deals, FourFourTwo will give the local partners print and digital content including interviews, analysis, match previews and video content.

FourFourTwo is positioning itself for strong growth in new markets and distribution channels reaching football fans around the globe. The partnerships will advance FourFourTwo’s strategic vision to build digital and print capabilities in pursuit of becoming the world’s market-leading football media brand, says Haymarket.

Voetbal International has been The Netherlands’ leading football media brand for more than 50 years. Starting as a weekly print title, Voetbal International has grown into a strong all-round brand with popular website, a video production, events, apps and a book publishing company. The brand now reaches 90,000 readers per week in print and 900,000 unique users per month online.

Soka.co.ke is a new football site in Kenya that kicked off operations in June 2015. Soka provides an in-depth view of local football matters on and off the pitch, locally and regionally. In addition to the online platform, Soka publishes a bi-monthly magazine and facilitates two events – the bi-annual Soka Fans’ Fun Day and the Soka Fans Player of the Month and Season.

Alastair Lewis, Haymarket Consumer Media's International Director, said: “I'm delighted to be kicking off 2017 in style with these new partnerships for FourFourTwo. Both new agreements are great examples of the ways we are now working with partners around the globe to extend our brands and take our content to new audiences.”
