Rebecca has been ELLE magazine’s Assistant Editor for the past 11 years. During that time she edited the influential bi-annual ELLE Collections and has interviewed names such as Karl Lagerfeld, Valentino, Tom Ford, Donatella Versace and Victoria Beckham – relationships she has developed over the 21 years she has worked in the industry.
Prior to ELLE, Rebecca held the post of Deputy Fashion Editor at The Independent and Fashion Editor of the Independent on Sunday.
Commenting on her appointment, Rebecca said: “I’m thrilled to be joining such a talented team. Grazia is a brilliant magazine with huge influence and scope to celebrate every aspect of fashion. I hope to uphold its high standards set by its previous fashion directors Susannah Frankel and Paula Reed, and bring my own voice to the magazine.”
Editor, Natasha Pearlman, added: “It's incredibly exciting to welcome someone of Rebecca's calibre to Grazia. Not only is she a brilliant writer, but she also has fantastic relationships across the fashion industry. And she combines a true love of fashion and its history with the unique ability to connect with and entertain the reader. Her ideas for Grazia blew us away and I look forward to seeing her bring them to life when she joins in the new year.”
Rebecca succeeds Susannah Frankel, who is leaving Grazia to join AnOther Magazine. She will report directly to Grazia's Editor Natasha Pearlman and takes up the position in January 2016.
