ICE Strengthens its Online Recruitment Service

The Institution of Civil Engineers group (ICE) has re-launched its extensive online recruitment service to provide job seekers and recruiters with a user-friendly and effective job site.

ICErecruit.com teamed up with Madgex to improve the ICE Group’s civil engineering online recruitment site. The re-launched online service is dedicated to matching qualified civil and structural engineers with career opportunities from across the construction sector.

The improved online site now provides job seekers with the fundamental tools to find the best career match according to their experience and knowledge, says Madgex. Candidates can create a personal profile to display their skill set, as well as producing a shortlist of opportunities that is tailored to their job preferences and current location.

Potential employers and recruiters can utilise the online service to provide a quick and effective way to access a pool of highly skilled professionals, reaching engineering talent often not accessible through other channels.

George Kalathil, sales executive from ICE Recruit, comments: “The re-launch has given us the chance to offer an enhanced service to our job seekers and recruiter clients and to cement our place as the number one job board for civil engineering.

“Job seekers will find a host of new functionality to help them track down the right job for them and recruiters will find new tools to find the best talent. More than ever the site will bring these parties together for mutual benefit.”

As part of the improved service, the site now provides more candidate support information and career insights for job seekers who are looking to boost their appeal to potential recruiters and employers. This includes developing skills in LinkedIn, CV drafting and taking part in ICE’s lunchtime membership webinars.

ICE Recruit currently has over 500 civil engineering jobs uploaded with wide spread opportunities across its contact network, including structural engineering, CAD & Design and highways & infrastructure. Recruiters include local and national government, engineering consultancies, charities and NGOs, as well as a wide range of recruitment consultancies and international recruiters.
