ICLR’s new Online Publishing Service for Law Reports goes live

Catalysts Ltd, a specialist publishing systems integrator, have announced the launch of the new Online Publishing Service that they have built for the Incorporated Council of Law Reporting in England and Wales.

The launch marks the culmination of nearly two years highly cooperative work alongside ICLR and sees their Indexes becoming available online for the first time alongside and integrated with the Law Reports.

The Service is delivered via an online Portal and is integrated with an ecommerce application and a full subscription management service for both online, PDF and hardcopy products. The final publishing process is automated and Catalysts provides a full managed hosting and operational support service.

“We are delighted to have launched our online service in response to demand from the legal profession. It has been a complex service to design and the enormity and detailed nature of the material and the sophisticated search requirements that lawyers require to extract the information they need. Catalysts has worked very closely with us to design a product that we are proud of and it has been extremely well received so far. We look forward to a continued close working relationship with Catalysts as the service evolves and moves into its subsequent phases of development.” said Kevin Laws, Secretary of ICLR.

“Working with the team at ICLR during this project has been extremely rewarding for Catalysts. Their requirements drew on the very best of our expertise and knowledge as we integrated a number of technology modules and tuned them to produce the very specific outputs and performance that ICLR were looking for. The results offer ICLR’s subscribers unparalleled speed and relevance of access to The Law Reports and their associated Indexes” said Nigel Phelps (pictured), Managing Director of Catalysts.
