Immediate Media Co has announced the launch of The Recommended, which offers product recommendations and buyers' advice from experts to help users shop smarter online.

The Recommended, the publisher added, offers buyers’ guides currently under four main categories: household, cosmetics, fitness and pet-care, with experts offering advice on what to look for and what to avoid when buying products online.

Articles such as ‘the best fans to help you beat the heat’, ‘the best sun creams to protect your skin’, ‘the best yoga mats’, recommended by expert yoga teachers and ‘the best dog beds for all sizes of dog’, recommended by animal experts feature buying advice and products that are either expert-recommended or chosen by editorial teams in line with expert guidance.

The publisher says that The Recommended’s launch content has included insight and buyers advice from over 50 leading experts in their fields, including make-up artist Joy Adenuga, Jump Rope champion Tori Boggs, hairstylist Richard Ward, fitness expert and celebrity personal trainer Fabrice Le Physique and dog behaviourist and trainer Adem Fehmi.
