LexisNexis UK, yesterday announced that it has been selected to publish the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health's (IOSH) brand new members' magazine in print and online.
LexisNexis currently publishes a number of specialist industry titles and is well positioned to produce a publication in line with IOSH's aims of communicating cutting edge news and professional information. LexisNexis’s editorial team will work with IOSH to create a magazine that sets the standard in occupational safety and health, a one-stop hub for information on strategic management to protect workers and a trusted source for regulation and best practice, reaching around 44,000 IOSH members in more than 120 countries.
The magazine will succeed the current title Safety and Health Practitioner.
IOSH chief executive officer, Jan Chmiel, said: "We were impressed by the plans LexisNexis put forward for our new magazine. Our members can look forward to receiving a publication that will support them in their work and keep them fully informed about and engaged with their profession.”
Chmiel continued: "Our members are passionate about their work, ambitious in their personal development and want to be recognised as enablers, supporting organisations to deliver a safer and healthier workplace, wherever they operate in the world. IOSH and our partners LexisNexis will create a magazine that responds to this comprehensively."
LexisNexis Director, Chris Jones, said: "We are proud to have been chosen by IOSH to develop its new magazine and digital publication. We are committed to delivering a world-leading title that supports health and safety practitioners in their vital work."
The magazine will be available to members globally in January 2016.
