With a growing number of North American based major media brand customers such as Gannett, Metro US, and Grupo Expansión, Lineup Systems has announced it has reached an agreement with the Toronto Star, Canada’s largest daily newspaper, and the Metro free English-language daily newspapers across Canada to implement the AdPoint sales solution for its capabilities in CRM, print and digital advertisement order booking, finance operations and analytics.
The first phase of the agreement was a commercial ad booking application supporting the strategic launch of Star Touch, the Toronto Star’s new tablet app. Lineup and the Toronto Star worked closely to integrate and streamline new digital processes, which allow orders to flow to and from the AdPoint solution and the tablet platform in real-time. This provides total visibility and control from lead generation in the AdPoint CRM to delivery in production, says Lineup.
