The pan-Baltic deal will also see Top Gear magazine launching editions in Latvia and Estonia in 2012.
The monthly magazine launches on 25 July with a cover price of 7.9 Lithuanian Litas. The initial print run is 10,000 copies and 30% of the content is produced locally in Lithuania. The editor is journalist and experienced racer Renaldas Gabartas.
SC Baltic Media’s Chairman Saulius Garbaravicius commented on the deal: “Our aim is to become the most popular magazine among men in the Baltic States. I am sure that the appearance of one of the most famous magazines in the world will cause a huge interest among readers with exceptional taste.”
Joanna Marshall (pictured), Head of International Licensing and Syndication at BBC Magazines, said: "Unique content and strong positioning keeps Top Gear Magazine miles ahead of the competition. We are thrilled to work with TG Media and SC Baltic for the first time.”
