He'll be working with them, supported by David and VWG Account Director Alison Nesbitt, to further develop and grow Hub, the dealer-facing communications platform operated by Wonderly on behalf of Volkswagen and its sister brands, Audi, SEAT, Škoda, VW Commercial Vehicles and TPS.
Nic joins Wonderly after five years at consumer group Which?, where he managed the brand's content strategy, creation and video production teams, plus a stint as editor-in-chief at B2B tech agency, WE Worldwide. However he's no stranger to the world of Haymarket, having previously edited Network customer titles for Toyota and McLaren, plus four years on Stuff and What Hi-Fi? Sound & Vision.
Nic says: "I'm thrilled to be working with such incredible brands at such an exciting time in the automotive world. Electrification, autonomous technology and evolving ownership models all mean huge changes for the car industry, and the Wonderly team is right at the front line. I'm also excited to join Issie, David and Alison as Wonderly establishes a bold new identity within the Haymarket family."
David Spon-Smith comments: "Nic brings a wealth of editorial and product experience, and will be focused on delivering the next phase of development for the VWG Dealer Hub. We're concentrating on developing our customer experience capabilities, putting customer insight at the heart, and see Nic's appointment as a key part of our future growth strategy."
