PPA Independent Publisher Award winners announced

On Friday 24th November, the independent publishing community gathered in London for the annual Independent Publishing Awards.

The awards are a celebration of the businesses, teams and individuals propelling the growing independent publishing community. The PPA says entries were judged by an experienced panel and two new award categories were created for 2023 - Innovation of the Year and Video Content of the Year.

Winners were awarded from across the whole of the industry from highly respected editors, world-class writers, marketing experts, and commercial stars, innovative events and excellent digital products, to the design and creativity that bring these independent publishing brands to life.

The event was hosted by comedian, presenter, writer and actor Jen Brister. A regular presenter on BBC 6 Music, BBC Scotland and Juice FM, as well as a contributor to brands such as Diva, g2, Standard Issue and Huffington Post.
