Being held at the Magna Science Adventure Centre in Rotherham, this unique venue used to be a steel foundry and is the perfect innovative setting that exuberates the passion and vision of progressive rock music.

2012 has been a groundbreaking year for Prog Magazine and the genre in general. According to the publishers, the magazine has seen a market defying increase in sales, and their inaugural Progressive Rock Awards at Kew Gardens was hosted by BBC Newsnight’s Gavin Esler, and brought together some of the greatest names in progressive rock music for the first time, including Genesis, Rick Wakeman, Steven Wilson, Keith Emerson and Carl Palmer to mention but a few.

Chris Ingham, Publisher of Prog Magazine, says, “We are delighted to be involved in such a fantastic event. It’s a welcome addition to an ever-expanding modern scene, which shows just how healthy this vibrant community is. For too long prog rock has not been given the platform it deserves, and we at Prog Magazine are delighted to be involved in another celebration for these innovators and visionary’s of rock.”
