As part of this year’s Children in Need activity, the Pudsey Bear themed magazine will be on sale in November. It is the first time an Immediate Media Co Magazine has been edited by a bear.
Coinciding with the launch of CBeebies Magazine’s new Facebook site, fans can view a film of Pudsey’s visit. The new Facebook page has fresh content to complement what’s going on in the issue that week, with more insider CBeebies information and extra printable activities focused on the Early Years Curriculum.
Laura Quinn, Deputy Editor of CBeebies Magazine said: “It’s been great having the much-loved Pudsey Bear brighten up our office for the day and we’re looking forward to supporting Children in Need by creating an extra-special issue packed with Pudsey Bear style fun.”
Pudsey Bear looked through pictures readers had sent in to him, checking proofs, chairing the team’s meeting and hanging out in Immediate Media’s garden. The issue will help kick start some fund-raising for Children in Need with lots of fun things to colour, make and do with Pudsey thoughout the magazine, say the publishers.
