Purple announces new features

Purple, an AI-driven digital publishing platform designed specifically for publishers, has announced the launch of several features. Founded in 2007, Purple says it works with over 600 brands all over the world providing digital publishing software which helps publishers deliver web, app, and social media content to their readers.

Headquartered in Berlin, Germany, the company says it decided to strengthen its activities in the UK last year due to increasing demand and growing need. Publishers such as Bauer UK, Immediate, and Ourmedia have already placed their trust in Purple, added the company, and use the platform to manage their digital content.

Based on feedback, the company says the Purple platform now includes the following new features:

One-click multi-language content creation – The integration with DeepL allows publishers to translate their content into multiple languages ensuring that making multilingual for Omnichannel content is intuitive. DeepL is integrated with Purple Editor, the platform’s Headless CMS.

Purple SSO – The company says one of its most requested features was Single Sign On (SSO) which allows all members of a team to access the Purple platform with a single click without the need of passwords. Purple's Single Sign-On. Users can effortlessly access the entire Purple platform, with a single login, saving time.

Custom Blocks – Custom Blocks in Purple Editorial lets users create reusable content blocks and integrate them into the editor block library. Users can design a block, set its functionality, and distribute it across Purple Apps and Websites. These blocks reflect a brand’s design and corporate identity, ensuring consistency for recurring elements like authors, teasers, intros, or product info.

Purple Wires – Purple Wires allows users to retrieve agency news from any press service and convert it into editable articles with one click. Featuring a modern interface with article previews, text previews, and word/character counts, it enhances editor efficiency. Purple Wires 2.0 organizes imported content for tailored reporting.

Tango Print-Integration – The new print integration with Tango expands Purple’s compatibility with systems like WoodWing and CX Fusion by ppi, further supporting a Digital First approach. Articles in a neutral format can easily be adapted for print with additional blocks and preview features, ensuring a unified workflow for high-quality content across digital and print channels.
