Stacy Bettman appointed as Time Out Media CEO

Time Out Group has announced that Stacy Bettman has been appointed Time Out Media CEO.

In this role – based in New York and reporting to Time Out Group CEO Chris Ohlund – Stacy will lead the Time Out Media division around the world including across North America, the UK, Europe, APAC as well as the global Franchises, says the publisher.

Time Out Group and through its two business divisions – Time Out Media and Time Out Market – says it inspires and enables people to experience the best of the city and connects global brands as well as local talent with its audience. Time Out is dedicated to city life and since its inception in 1968, journalists have curated and created content about the best things to Do, See and Eat – today across 333 cities in 59 countries and across a multi-platform model spanning both digital and physical channels including web, mobile, email, social media, video and Live Events as well as Time Out Market. The synergies between Time Out Media and Time Out Market offer advertising clients a mix of digital and real-life solutions and as a result, bespoke 360-degree campaigns now often include, alongside digital tactics, in-person experiences in the Markets which enable greater storytelling.

Stacy Bettman joined Time Out in 2018 as managing director sales North America before taking on the role of president, Americas, and most recently president, North America & UK, driving revenue and growth in the media division, says the publisher. She brings over 25 years of media experience across multiple disciplines in digital sales and marketing and previously held publisher positions at Hearst and associated publisher titles at Condé Nast for beauty, fashion and health brands. She also led teams at Allure, Marie Claire and Seventeen. Stacy holds a Bachelor of Science in Journalism from New York University.
