Stuart Selner is new Creative Director of Cosmopolitan

The National Magazine Company has announced the appointment of Stuart Selner as Creative Director of Cosmopolitan.

Stuart Selner (pictured) was formerly Creative Director at Marie Claire. He has considerable experience in the magazine industry having held the same position at Arena, Elle and Emap’s Youth Titles - Just Seventeen, Bliss, Looks, Minx and More! He was also the launch Creative Director for FHM in the US.

He takes on responsibility for the overall visual direction of Cosmopolitan including the editorial design and imagery together with the design of the magazine’s promotions. Part of his role will also include working with the wider commercial team to oversee all visual extensions of the Cosmopolitan brand.

Selner will report to the Editor of Cosmopolitan, Louise Court, and will lead a team of eight.

Selner will join Cosmopolitan on 15th February and succeeds Andy Greenhouse who is leaving to set up his own business.
