Stuff readers can now call the Stuff TechHelpline for help with technology problems from PC setup assistance to gadget connectivity issues.
The helpline is free to call and customers are only charged when a problem has been fixed. It is modelled on Dell’s existing helpline, Dell Presto, but is available exclusively to Stuff customers.
Chris Lowe, digital special projects manager for Stuff.tv, said: “The Stuff TechHelpline will benefit not only from Stuff’s gadget expertise but also from Dell’s huge stake in the PC market. Our customers have often asked us to make our knowledge available in interactive ways and this helpline, along with our Stuff.tv forums, will allow them access to the best of Stuff.”
The helpline will initially run for 12 months with the possibility to extend the scheme further.
