Telegraph to launch on Kindle Fire

Telegraph Media Group (TMG) has announced it has launched The Telegraph for Kindle Fire, The Telegraph’s fourth digital edition, building on the success of the Kindle e-reader, iPad and Windows8 application launches.

Readers can download the application from the Kindle store and will be able to view an edition of the newspaper as well as picture galleries and video content. The application will also feature a special puzzles section enabling readers to view and play 30 days worth of crosswords and Sudoku.

The application, which will be available directly as part of The Telegraph’s Digital Pack, will be priced at £9.99 per month. All existing Print and Digital Pack subscribers can enjoy free access to The Telegraph for Kindle Fire, and as part of the launch, The Telegraph will offer readers a no obligation, free, 30-day trial of the application. Launch activity will also include the offer of a free Kindle Fire device worth £129, for any customer taking out a print subscription of The Telegraph.

Graham Horner, Marketing Director, Telegraph Media Group said: “We are pleased to announce the launch of The Telegraph for Kindle Fire, representing our fourth digital edition. Being able to offer the application to our existing print and digital subscribers for free, is part of our continued commitment to our subscribers.”
