Lauren Lavery: “We’re delighted with this brand new, visually compelling digital archive.”

Individuals and library subscribers alike will receive instant and fully searchable access to the most recent six issues, as well as new issues as they are published.

For over fifty years, The Capilano Review has supported and been sustained by a vibrant community of readers, writers, and artists committed to experimentation in writing and art, says Exact Editions.

Based in Vancouver and published three times a year, the magazine has featured work by more than 1,500 contributors across its history. The work collected in each issue is critically and socially engaged, including full-colour art sections and artists’ projects, poetry, fiction, essays, interviews, and reviews.

Digital subscribers will benefit from the Exact Editions’ platform’s search function, which can locate key words and topics across single issues and the full archive. Each issue also boasts a linked contents page and can be accessed seamlessly across web, iOS and Android devices for a cross-platform experience.

The Capilano Review is available in Exact Editions’ shops for individuals and institutions.

Managing Editor Lauren Lavery commented: “We’re delighted with this brand new, visually compelling digital archive; as well as the sales opportunities it brings, the art sections of each issue, in particular, have translated beautifully into this new format.”

Managing Director of Exact Editions, Daryl Rayner, said: “The Capilano Review has a rich history. Its contributions from award-winning literary writers including Jordan Abel, Liz Howard and Daphne Marlattand will cement its place as a brilliant resource for libraries internationally, especially as the archive grows.”
