Winners of each of the eleven categories were announced after an open public vote created a shortlist of five nominees in each category, with a specialist panel of judges selecting the victors.
The awards ceremony took place amongst a scintillating backdrop of some of the world’s finest Porsches, from the 901 Cabriolet prototype right up to a 991 GT3 RS. 2015 Le Mans winner, Nick Tandy, was on hand to take part in a live Q&A session. Guests also managed to raise £880 for Great Ormond Street Hospital thanks to a raffle of an exclusive Porsche Design luggage set.
“The inaugural Total 911 Awards has been a resounding success and I’m thrilled at how well received our event has been in awarding genuine excellence in the Porsche industry,” declared Lee Sibley, Editor of Total 911.
“To have so many representatives from across the international Porsche spectrum under one roof made for a very special occasion and I’m delighted for the winners of our prestigious awards, who have rightly had their year-round hard work recognised. Already, we look forward to the 2016 Awards for what will be the night to look forward to each and every year for the Porsche industry.”
“The Awards evening was a glittering occasion and one for the entire Porsche industry to remember,” added Publishing Director, Aaron Asadi, “Once again I place on record my thanks to our partners Hexagon, Porsche Cars GB, Porsche Design, the Porsche Club GB, JZM and Poole Accident Repair for supporting us in this exciting new venture.”
