EMG, based in Apeldoorn in Holland, has selected AdPortal Cloud from Wave2 following a detailed and thorough vendor selection process. AdPortal Cloud will act as the platform for the newspaper’s group‐wide self‐service advertising offering which will be focussed on family announcements and classified ads, say the company.
Due to go live later in 2015, AdPortal Cloud will integrate with the Zeno2 booking system solution as supplied by Socho_IT, the AdPoint production solution from IntegrationX as well as the iDeal payment service provider solution.
AdPortal Cloud is a pre‐configured, hosted service which enables a simple and fast implementation for self‐service advertising that will drive an early return on investment. For all media organisations, including national and regional newspapers, as well as magazine publishers, AdPortal Cloud assists in transitioning traditional advertising models and replaces them with a dynamic self‐service advertising solution that has been proven to significantly raise ad revenue.
Dick ten Bolscher, Head of Business Development & ICT at EMG explains why the decision was made to go forward with Wave2: “We took a long look at the various options available to us before deciding to proceed with Wave2. We were impressed by the strategic and long term view that Wave2 have adopted when designing their products. In this rapidly evolving world of publishing, we need to ensure that the solutions in which we invest will be flexible and capable of supporting our own strategic needs.”
Commenting on this latest contract win, Andrew Haggarty, Sales Director at Wave2 said: “We are extremely pleased that EMG has selected Wave2 as their self‐service solutions and technology partner. This contract is further endorsement of Wave2 becoming a leading solutions provider to publishers throughout the Netherlands and I hope to be announcing further success in this region in the next few months.”
