Woman’s Weekly unveils Diamond Jubilee Special

Woman’s Weekly, the magazine which celebrates the home, family and lives of UK women, today unveils a 100-page tribute issue dedicated to Her Majesty The Queen.

The glossy one-off special – The Queen's Diamond Jubilee – features readers’ recollections of meeting The Queen, a look back at how her style has evolved during her reign, as well as 60 fascinating, often little-known, facts about the 60 years of The Queens reign. A double page spread of candid and unguarded moments captured on camera and a feature celebrating the ‘Team behind The Queen’, offer readers a rare insight into the life of one of our most public, yet often enigmatic, figures.

Woman’s Weekly editor, Diane Kenwood says: “What I love about this Special issue is how it reveals The Queen as a woman as opposed to just a Monarch. We have taken a huge amount of time and effort to research and reveal the person behind the public figure, both in terms of words and pictures. Creating this issue is the biggest and most extensive picture research project the magazine has ever undertaken and we have included some really special images as a result. We are also delighted to be able to include unique Woman’s Weekly content both from readers and our archives. This really is the ultimate keepsake of this special moment in British history.”

The Queen's Diamond Jubilee Special hits the newsstands on 16th May, priced £2.99 and is available nationwide until 20th June.
