5 fifteen welcomes new members to its team

5 fifteen, one of the leading UK software companies supplying dedicated software to publishers throughout the world, has announced the expansion of its team with the appointment of Sarah Jackson as Product Manager for adDEPOT and Ian Dutton as Project Manager for Media Norge.

Based at 5 fifteen’s UK headquarters in Slough, Sarah (pictured above) will focus on developing the functionality of the adDEPOT advertising booking system, working with customers to ensure that every requirement is met and supporting the continuing growth in the newspaper market. She will also be responsible for delivering a suite of training materials to educate new customers in the newspaper market about the functionality of adDEPOT.

Sarah is an accomplished businesswoman with over fifteen years’ experience in training and management in the newspaper and IT industry, having previously worked at Leicester Mercury, Northcliffe and A&N Media.

“I worked on a major project with 5 fifteen in my previous role and admired them as a company for their friendly and professional approach. When the opportunity arose for me to be part of the organisation I was delighted to join the team,” enthused Sarah. “My experience within the newspaper industry and most recently with developing new software systems and enhancing legacy systems for a regional media business, has given me the perfect base from which to service our clients here at 5 fifteen.”

As Project Manager for Media Norge, Ian Dutton (pictured below) comes to 5 fifteen with thirteen years experience in the IT industry, ten of which have been in the newspaper industry. Project managing numerous software installations during that time, Ian will now head up the team implementing adDEPOT at Media Norge – the largest media company in Norway – across its four regional offices.

Ian comments, “One of the biggest challenges of my new role will be expanding the market for adDEPOT. It is well known in the magazine area but for this installation in the newspaper sector a number of technical modifications need to be made to the software. Having had a decade of experience in this industry I feel I am well placed to ensure the successful implementation of the project and am proud to be part of this exciting growth area for 5 fifteen.”

As part of the implementation of adDEPOT at Media Norge, Ian is responsible for the onsite integration of the system as well as working with key 3rd party suppliers. Ian explains, “Integrating the best systems from the best suppliers in order to produce a system that meets and exceeds the client’s expectations is our primary goal.”

Merv Griffin, Sales and Marketing Director, 5 fifteen, concludes, “We are delighted to officially welcome both Sarah and Ian to the 5 fifteen team. They bring with them a wealth of experience and industry knowledge to help us in the newspaper market and an energy that will see them both succeed in their new roles.”
