Agenda announced for Wired 2011

Wired has announced the draft agenda, subject to change, for Wired 2011 Together with O2, the forthcoming two-day event celebrating ideas, innovations and the people reshaping our world.

A haven for disruptive thinking and radical opinion, Wired 2011 has attracted numerous prominent industry names, all promising to enlighten, intrigue, inspire and provoke discussion.

The two days will be themed, with those at the top of their game contributing to each;

THE FUTURE IS HERE – The birth of the digital age;  MIND HACKS – How to improve ourselves; IDEAS BANK – Brain food and provocations; HOW PEOPLE CONNECT – Future of communications; PLAY – The importance of sound; DESIGN THINKING –Immortal design; DIGITAL WORLD MEET PHYSICAL WORLD – Atoms are the new bits; TEST LAB – toys, gadgets, demos; INFOPORN – Racing on real time data; LAB NOTES – The physics of time reversal; THE NATURAL USER INTERFACE – Computer vision; SOCIAL FUTURE – Giving people the power to share;  DISRUPTING BUSINESS – The agony and the ecstasy of being an entrepreneur.

Wired 2011 is being held at St Pancras Renaissance Hotel in London on the 13th and 14th October. 

Attendees will also hear lightening talks - insights from Wired100 guests including Robin Klein, Michael Acton Smith, Andrew Fisher, Kristian Segerstrale, Stefan Glaenzer, Hermann Hauser, Brent Hoberman, Rohan Silva and more.  From key innovators to investors, this year’s Wired 100 List was Wired’s second annual survey of the UK’s digital power brokers, compiled by a Wired panel and readers of the magazine.
