The team, led by Commercial Development Editor, Nisha Ponnappa has just completed a refresh of Take a Break magazine’s website to incorporate a new free interactive puzzles section.
Takeabreak.co.uk now includes five popular puzzle types – wordsearches, sudokus, codebreakers, crosswords and arrowwords. Each day a new puzzle of each type is posted, and players have the opportunity to explore and play puzzles from the previous six days.
Bauer Media is now also providing puzzles for Wizarding World, the official home of Harry Potter, supplying crosswords and wordsearches all themed around the Harry Potter universe for both their app and website.
In addition, the team has agreed a year-long partnership to supply puzzles for a monthly Alzheimer’s Society leaflet entitled Brain Workout. The design, content and printing of the product, which is sent to donors as part of their monthly pack, is all handled by Bauer Media UK.
Liz Watkinson, Managing Director of Puzzles, Real-Life and TV Listings at Bauer Media UK, commented: “Our new venture into interactive puzzles is a game-changer for our puzzles syndication arm. We are now able to offer clients a full range of services from a cutting-edge puzzles platform, to bespoke digital and print puzzle content. With our heritage at Bauer we know puzzlers like no-one else and understand what makes the puzzle experience come to life for the best quality engagement and enjoyment.”
