BSME Talent Awards 2024 - winners announced
The event was hosted by DJ for Radio 1 and Selector Radio, documentary and TV presenter, Sian Eleri.

The annual ceremony for up-and-coming talent in the magazine and digital publishing industry was held by the British Society of Magazine Editors at 100 Wardour Street, London.

The BSME says the ceremony is one of the highlights of its calendar, designed to celebrate editorial excellence and innovation across digital and print publications in the UK.

Winners included Karl Flinders and Computer Weekly editorial team for the Post Office Best Campaign, Motability Lifestyle Magazine for the Diversity and Inclusion Award and the Which? TikTok team for Best Use of Social Media.

A total of 25 teams, journalists and creatives were awarded a BSME Talent Award, with 3 Highly Commended entries.

The event was hosted by DJ for Radio 1 and Selector Radio, documentary and TV presenter, Sian Eleri and 2024 BSME chair Gideon Spanier, with DJ and broadcaster Kennedy Taylor welcoming guests, and DJ Siggyending the evening.

Gideon Spanier, BSME chair 2024 and UK editor-in-chief at Campaign, said: "The winners of the BSME Talent Awards 2024 deserve recognition for their brilliant journalism, creative flair and willingness to innovate.

"Encouraging and attracting new and diverse talent is vital for the future of the magazine industry, which is why these awards matter. At the BSME, we believe in the importance of trusted journalism and its contribution to democratic life, so it is especially pleasing that Computer Weekly won Campaign of the Year for its work in helping to expose the Post Office scandal."
