Cedar wins O2 in-store content account

In one of the biggest content marketing agency moves of the past year, O2 has chosen Cedar to develop the next phase of the brand’s in-store customer content.

The move signals a fresh approach to O2’s in-store content, starting with the launch of a new magazine that will focus on customer needs and the benefits of mobile living.

Set to launch in March, the magazine promises engaging and entertaining editorial that will connect customers with O2’s full brand proposition, from new trends in smartphones to the latest music and offers from Priority Moments.

The agency will also deliver a multimedia content journey across digital channels.

“We’re absolutely delighted,” says Hannah Saunders (pictured), Cedar’s New Business Director. “Content is a real differentiator in this sector, so this is an amazing opportunity to challenge the status quo and create a fresh offering that’s genuinely focused on the customer.”

Martin Jordan, Head of Retail Deployment at O2, says: “We wanted a magazine that helps people get the most out of technology in an ever-increasing digital world, in a way that's relevant and beneficial to their everyday lives. Cedar has created content that is truly engaging, but also easy to access both digitally and in print.”

Founded in 1973, Cedar is a creative and commercial content agency with offices in London, Shanghai, Cape Town and Johannesburg.
