DMGT appoint new non-executive director

The board of DMGT has appointed Heidi Roizen as an independent non-executive director.

Ms Roizen, aged 54, who is based in Silicon Valley, California, brings wide experience in digital media, entrepreneurial growth, education and business development. She has served on the boards of public and private companies and non-profit organisations in the United States.

Ms Roizen is a venture partner with the global technology investment firm Draper Fisher Jurvetson and also serves on the faculty of Stanford University, where she teaches "Spirit of Entrepreneurship" in the Engineering Department. She is on the board of TiVo Inc, as well as a number of venture-backed, privately held, technology companies. She has served on more than 20 boards and as a public governor of the Pacific Exchange. She was previously with T/Maker Company, which she co-founded and led as CEO, and with Apple Computer, as Vice President of Worldwide Developer Relations.
