Empire launches campaign to promote digital edition

Empire magazine has launched a five week campaign to promote its digital edition and drive subscriptions.

New subscribers to the digital only or print/digital bundle will automatically be entered into a prize draw to win an Xbox 360, with one to be won every week. Winners will be announced weekly via Empire’s social media channels and on the website.

The Empire team has created a two minute video showcasing the interactivity of the Digital Edition which will be hosted on empireonline.com. The first of four homepage takeovers on the site also appeared this week.

The campaign is supported internally with a mixture of banner ads, solus emails and iPad house ads by Kiss FM, Magic 105.4, 4music, FHM, MOJO, Car and Practical Photography to name a few. Externally the video will run throughout the London Film Festival Foyer and via social media and newsletters to the London Film Festival database.
