Exact Editions has partnered with the Association of Southeastern Research Libraries (ASERL) on a deal for select research libraries across the United States, available until the 31st of December 2025.

The deal includes discounted prices on bundles of titles. The research libraries can select from over 180 esteemed titles across the Exact Editions platform, spanning a range of research areas, including science, music, literature, art and more. Exact Editions says it aims to provide academic libraries with the opportunity to invest in a diverse assortment of digital resources for their students and researchers.

Exact Editions says institutional subscriptions are authenticated by IP-access for a seamless browsing experience, with remote access options also available. The digital archives are accessible across web, iOS and Android platforms, and integrate into library catalogues with MARC records and KBART data. Every page on Exact Editions has its own unique URL, enabling students to easily cite their sources and bookmark specific pages for future research, added the company. Accessibility features, such as plain text and 'Read Aloud' technology, allow for a particularly inclusive experience.

Rebecca Crist, program coordinator for Shared Collections Resources at ASERL, has said, “ASERL is looking forward to working with Exact Editions to offer our members discounted subscriptions. This partnership is an excellent match, reflecting ASERL’s focus on expanding access to content and our aim of building valuable collections that reflect the communities we serve.”

Daryl Rayner, managing director of Exact Editions, has said: “We are very pleased to be working with the ASERL on this. The variety of magazines and journals included in the deal encompass an array of subjects, with archives dating back decades. We look forward to providing even more ASERL members with the Exact Editions range of digital content.”

Exact Editions says you can browse available titles here, and if your library is a member of the ASERL, you can get in touch for more information by emailing institutions@exacteditions.com.
