Peter Hung: “Bringing the spirit of Forbes to Madrid, in partnership with SpainMedia, Forbes House Madrid will assemble a thriving network of leaders in a space that embodies our global brand.”

Forbes Media, in partnership with SpainMedia, yesterday opened the doors to Forbes House Madrid, it says a first-of-its-kind, exclusive private members-only club tailored to a global community of entrepreneurs, leaders and innovators.

Situated in the heart of Madrid’s financial district, the project marks the launch of Forbes House, a global private club concept. Forbes House was founded in partnership with SpainMedia, publisher of Forbes España, one of Forbes’s 43 local licensed editions across 69 countries. Designed to be a physical space where ambitious and influential leaders from business, culture, media, politics and sport can connect and collaborate, Forbes House Madrid will provide unique resources enabling its member community to unlock new paths to success.

The founding member community has been carefully curated by Forbes España’s team, added Forbes, leveraging their understanding of some of Madrid’s most influential individuals. Subsequent new members will be required to show evidence of achievement in their field and the endorsement of at least two founding members to be considered.

Forbes says the space is set across five floors and features a rooftop bar, a library, a restaurant headed by Michelin star chef Adolfo Santos focused on local produce, and a wine cellar. Flexible event spaces, including an auditorium, will be available for hosting both large scale and intimate events. The spaces have all been designed to encourage comfort and privacy, but also collaboration and connection, continued Forbes.

“Forbes House represents the next step in our mission to convene high-impact communities and connect our global audiences with the tools and access they need to achieve success,” said Peter Hung, president, licensing and branded ventures. “Bringing the spirit of Forbes to Madrid, in partnership with SpainMedia, Forbes House Madrid will assemble a thriving network of leaders in a space that embodies our global brand. We are excited about the prospects for the club in Madrid, a city we earmarked for its thriving business and cultural scene, and we look forward to further developing our club business in other key locations around the world.”

"Forbes House Madrid will be the first of its kind in the world, becoming the home of entrepreneurs, corporate visionaries, project dreamers and business disruptors," said Andrés Rodriguez, president of Forbes House Madrid.

According to Forbes, Spain Media is the majority investor in the project, with minority stakes held by Forbes Media and a select group of local investors.
