Free to join, Club Cosmo will bring members together through experiences such as branded events and meet-the-team socials. Those who join will also get access to exclusive content, plus giveaways, discounts and perks, including VIP concert tickets and beauty boxes, added the publisher.

In addition, members will receive a digital subscription to Cosmopolitan UK, access to its archive of back issues, special bimonthly e-zines and the brand’s newsletter, the publisher continued.

Claire Hodgson, editor-in-chief of Cosmopolitan UK, said: “We’re extremely excited to launch Club Cosmo, our new and completely free Cosmo community. In an increasingly online world, we know our audience is feeling more disconnected than ever before. Research from the Office for National Statistics found that one million people aged 16 to 29 experience 'chronic loneliness', while a poll of 1,500 Cosmopolitan UK readers found that 96% have dealt with loneliness at some point. Club Cosmo aims to be the antidote to this, offering an opportunity for them to connect with each other, and us. It’s the clique-free space for making new friends, meeting up with old ones, and accessing the very best content and rewards.”

Natasha Banjo, portfolio director – Women’s Lifestyle, Hearst UK, said: “Cosmopolitan is a feminist fire brand like no other. To our audience, it’s their relatable, funny, non-judgemental, clued-up friend. Club Cosmo will allow us to take this relationship and connect in a deeper way than ever before. Through our new experiences, it will also provide valuable opportunities for our partners to engage with our Gen Z audience in a truly authentic and meaningful way. We’re really looking forward to the future with Club Cosmo.”

Club Cosmo is the latest in Hearst UK’s line of membership launches, including Good Housekeeping VIP, ELLE COLLECTIVE, Women’s Health Collective, Men’s Health Squad and Runner’s World Club.
