Haymarket’s football brand will now be published in Spain, one of the sport’s key markets, in association with Motorpress Ibérica. Meanwhile the Hungarian edition of FourFourTwo, which has been published since 2010, will from Friday 30th June be produced by a new publishing house, Mediaworks.
Under the terms of the new deal, FourFourTwo will provide the local partners with digital content – such as analysis, interviews and opinion.
FourFourTwo says it is positioning itself for strong growth in new markets and distribution channels reaching football fans around the globe, connecting with more than 20 markets through global partners.
Fran Chico, Sports General Manager, Motorpress Ibérica, says: “The agreement with one of the world’s biggest football content platforms allows us to deliver Spanish fans a new point of view of the biggest sport in our country. We truly believe future contents, original but respectful to the sport heritage, will surprise soccer lovers besides their loved team.”
Alastair Lewis, Haymarket Consumer Media's Group Director, said: “I'm delighted to welcome our new partnership for FourFourTwo. The agreement is a great example of the ways we are working with partners around the globe to extend our brands and take our content to new audiences.”
