FourFourTwo.com unveils new look

Haymarket Consumer Media’s FourFourTwo has unveiled its revamped website.

The new-look FourFourTwo.com is more than just a redesign, say the publishers: the website has been completely re-built by Haymarket’s Digital Media Team on an international platform to allow for rapid expansion into new markets.

The site is responsive, meaning that it automatically resizes to suit the user’s screen, providing a seamless experience across desktop, tablet and mobile. And, for the first time, it incorporates Stats Zone, FourFourTwo’s award-winning iPhone app.

Launched in 2011, Stats Zone delivers real-time football stats for every game in the Premier League, Champions League, La Liga, Serie A, Bundesliga, Ligue Un and A-League.

Now users can generate directly in their browsers the same “pub ammo-providing analysis” that was once the preserve of iOS users.

“Stats Zone has been a huge success as an app,” said FourFourTwo.com editor Gary Parkinson. “The only complaints have been from those without an iPhone or iPad. Now the world and his Android-toting son can have no reason not to come and spend some time at FourFourTwo.com.”

The UK launch will be followed by FourFourTwo Australia joining the platform next month with further international launches to follow.

“The new site is a great reflection of the brand and provides us with the platform we need to really develop FourFourTwo’s already significant global reach,” said Brand Director, Hugh Sleight. “It’s fair to say that everyone who has seen the site has been blown away and our partners are already desperate to launch in their own markets. With the World Cup 10 months away, we’re in an extremely strong position to take advantage.”
