Future, a leading publisher of digital media properties, has announced that TechRadar.com is launching in the United States.

The new site will provide localised content, including news, features and reviews. Future is currently recruiting for a dedicated editorial team to work on the site, based in San Francisco.

TechRadar.com plans to launch its U.S arm in early Spring 2012 targeting tech-savvy, early adopters.

The U.K.’s number one technology site according to UKOM and Hitwise, TechRadar attracts more than ten million global unique monthly visitors, with U.S.-specific visits topping 1.6 million uniques per month, according to comScore.

“TechRadar has been the leading technology reviews site in the U.K. for the past several years, and bringing it fully to the U.S. has always been our ambition,” says Nick Merritt, Publisher of TechRadar.com. “It's great to finally be in a position to do it. We'll be building on our strengths with the most authoritative reviews of U.S. cell phones, tablets, hardware and software, and provide up-to-the-minute news, and valuable content catered specifically for the U.S. tech-buying audience."
