Grazia appoints Gaby Hinsliff

Grazia magazine has appointed Gaby Hinsliff as Political Editor-at-Large.

Gaby (pictured) began her political reporting career at the Daily Mail before being headhunted to join The Observer, where she subsequently became the youngest political editor on Fleet Street. She spent twelve years covering politics – interviewing everyone from David Cameron to Queen Rania of Jordan. Today, says Grazia, she remains one of the most respected political commentators, appearing regularly on everything from Women’s Hour to the Today programme.

Gaby will be interviewing key world figures and penning a weekly column which launches in Grazia on Tuesday 3 July 2012.

“Grazia readers have always loved the magazine’s unique mix of fashion, popular culture and world news so we’re delighted that Gaby is joining the team. Her vast experience in the political arena is an exciting addition to the magazine’s vibrant mix and will give our inquisitive, switched-on readers invaluable insight into the daily events and power players shaping their lives,” says Editor-in-chief Jane Bruton.

Gaby commented: “I'm really thrilled to be joining in this exciting new venture. Grazia has always been ahead of the game, so it should be no surprise to see the magazine responding to young women's real desire to get to grips with politics and to understand our changing times. I only hope more politicians will take women's votes as seriously as Grazia does.”
