Kalpana is currently the consumer editor of Good Housekeeping magazine, a role she took on in November 2017, and will continue with that role alongside her position as Hearst Finance Editor. This new role represents Hearst’s move into significantly developing its finance content for and comes in response to growing engagement by readers on this subject, says Hearst.
Kalpana will work across all Hearst brands such as Good Housekeeping, Red, Prima, Cosmopolitan, Elle, Harper’s Bazaar & Country Living.
Kalpana says: “I’m thrilled to be taking on this exciting role. Money management is a topic I am truly passionate about. It hugely impacts everyone’s lives and I’m hoping to help as many readers as possible in the UK to get more out of life through good money management.”
Jacquie Duckworth, Client Director of Finance at Hearst says: “The world of finance is beginning to understand the necessity to engage with women about their financial wellbeing – and our trusted brands at Hearst deliver the perfect platforms to reach out and help inform, educate and inspire women across the age spectrum. With Kalpana on board delivering accessible financial content across our brands, we are embracing wholeheartedly this need and opportunity.”
