Informa, a FTSE 100 international B2B Events, B2B Digital Services and Academic Markets Group, has announced the appointment of Penny Ladkin-Brand as chief executive of Taylor & Francis. Penny will join the Informa leadership team and brings extensive experience of specialist publishing, online platforms and digital acceleration.
Informa says Penny is a tenacious leader and transformative thinker, who understands the big picture and diverse needs of different stakeholders and delights in creating growth.
Penny joins Informa from Future PLC, where she was most recently chief financial & strategy officer. Under her tenure as CFO, Future has grown revenue from £60m to £800m, entering the FTSE 250 through a combination of organic and inorganic growth.
Before Future PLC, Penny was commercial director at Auto Trader UK, responsible for driving commercial strategy to generate sustainable revenue growth by realising real and perceived value.
Penny is also chair of Next 15, a data driven growth consultancy.
