InStyle & QVC join for Best Beauty Buys programme

Fashion and beauty title InStyle is raising the profile of its annual Best Beauty Buys Awards in a partnership with QVC, the UK's biggest TV shopping channel.

In an hour-long TV programme airing on QVC on Monday 11 July at 8pm, viewers will be able to buy a range of beauty products awarded an InStyle Best Beauty Buys prize this year.

Presented by QVC's beauty specialist, Alison Young, the Beauty with InStyle programme will also include video interviews with the InStyle beauty team offering their expert advice and tips. The programme will also promote an InStyle subscription offer for viewers.

IPC Southbank, publisher of InStyle, will promote the Beauty with InStyle programme using advertisements across its women's websites, including www.womanandhome.com and www.livingetc.com. QVC will promote the programme on air and online, including information about InStyle and the Best Beauty Buys Awards.

Sian Cupid, head of marketing for InStyle, says: "InStyle's Best Beauty Buys are like the Oscars of the beauty industry and are an indispensable guide to the hottest beauty products. This partnership with QVC is an excellent platform to promote the awards and the magazine to a new audience."

Sue Leeson, marketing director at QVC, adds: "QVC customers are always on the lookout for the latest products and this partnership with InStyle definitely gives them the edge on what's hot in the world of beauty.  At the same time, InStyle readers will be introduced to the huge variety of premium beauty products available on QVC and our dedicated beauty channel, QVC Beauty."

InStyle's Best Beauty Buys have been tried, tested and voted for by 181 of the UK's top make-up artists, hairdressers, skincare gurus and nail technicians. The issue announcing the award winners is often InStyle's biggest-selling of the year.

Products featured on the programme include Bobbi Brown Pot Rouge, L'Occitane Shea Butter Foot Cream and OPI Original Nail Envy.
