IPC advertising appoints Dan Coleman

IPC Advertising has announced that Dan Coleman is to join its strategic business development team as one of three strategic business development directors, reporting directly to group trading director Ian Tournes.

Formerly client director in client leadership at Mindshare, Dan Coleman (pictured) worked across brands including LG Electronics, Zurich, Umbro, THQ Games Software and Tourism Ireland.

Dan brings with him four years’ experience at Mindshare, before which he held an associate director (planning and press buying) role at OMD UK, where he was responsible for brands including McDonald’s, HMV and National Savings and Investments.

In his new role Dan will work across IPC with all sales and creative teams to develop new and existing business. Working with these teams, he will develop client and agency planning and strategic relationships, driving expenditure, increased innovation and integrated content solutions where relevant.

Ian says: “Dan’s agency experience is going to be invaluable to IPC in enhancing our dialogue with the media agency planning community and clients, highlighting our audiences, insights, brands and their media platforms.”

Dan adds: “Having worked in agencies for thirteen years, this role at IPC offers me an exciting opportunity delivering what advertisers increasingly desire: creating relevant but engaging content through much loved brands integrated across different channels. Our aim is to demonstrate a real tangible difference that our brands can make to drive our client’s business.”

Dan takes up his new role with immediate effect.
