IPC Southbank appoints Group Digital Editor across fashion brands

IPC Southbank, the upmarket women’s division of IPC Media, has announced a new digital structure across Marie Claire, InStyle and Look.

The new structure merges the three separate digital editorial teams to create a single digital content team that will serve the three brands’ websites and social media platforms.

The digital fashion team will be headed up by group digital editor, Kate Stephens, who is currently online editor of Marie Claire. Kate will manage the digital team and oversee the three fashion brand websites, as well as help develop and manage the editorial and commercial digital strategy across Marie Claire, InStyle and Look. Kate will be supported in this role by deputy group digital editor, Eleanor Young.

IPC Southbank Managing Director, Jackie Newcombe says: “With fantastic brands such as Marie Claire, InStyle and Look, and a combined digital total of 45.9 million page impressions, IPC’s digital fashion portfolio is unrivalled. This new team will further bolster our digital strength to take advantage of the myriad opportunities we see and help drive our traffic even higher, delivering stronger consumer engagement and re-affirming Southbank’s leading digital position within the market.”

Group Digital Editor, Kate Stephens adds: “I look forward to taking up this new role as digital editor of Marie Claire, InStyle and Look and working with their super-talented teams. Together I know we'll take the three world-class brands to even greater heights in the digital space.”

The new structure will take effect from 1st October 2013 and Kate will report to the individual publishing directors of each brand.
