The arrangement commenced on Tuesday 9 April and allows i to carry up to five daily reviews from TheArtsDesk.com, in addition to a number of selected feature articles in print and online.
The deal will complement i’s range of reviews coverage of live events, film & TV, theatre, art, books and music.
Alice Jones, i Arts Editor, said: “High quality arts coverage is in the DNA of i. Working with The Arts Desk allows us to increase our reviews coverage, across all the art forms, and across a variety of institutions around the country. The Arts Desk's large stable of critics will bring further expertise and experience to i’s arts pages.”
The new syndication deal follows similar agreements with the FT and The Economist, which began in April and in January 2019, respectively.
Curation has formed a key part of i’s DNA in the spirit of producing an informative daily briefing for readers, say the publishers.
