Launch: Equinus International

Equinus International, a new magazine about equestrian events from around the world, goes on sale 31 October, priced £5.99.

According to distributors COMAG: Designed to be a photography-led review of the equestrian events from the previous quarter, Equinus International will be an oversized magazine, which is ideal for coffee tables.

Aimed at all fans of equestrianism, every issue of Equinus International will have at least 160 pages of high quality stunning photography and original content about the disciplines of show jumping, dressage, three day eventing, reining, carriage driving and everything else.

Taking the reader to all the events in the equestrian calendar, Equinus International will look beyond the competition results from that quarter to provide the best behind-the-scenes coverage, in-depth articles, exclusive interviews and fantastic images from around the shows.

With unbridled access to many of the top events, venues, riders, stables and associations around the world, Equinus International will put the reader in the saddle for all things equestrian!

Issue No.1 of Equinus International will look back at the year’s biggest championships, events and shows, including the Hickstead International show jumping weekend, the Badminton Horse Trials in Gloucestershire and World Cup events from around Europe and across the U.S.

As well as reviewing this action, Equinus International caught up with London 2012 team Gold Medallist Ben Maher MBE. Currently based in Florida, the British rider spoke exclusively to the magazine about last year’s Olympics, his 2013 season and his hopes for next year.
