New Digital Editor for Tatler

Sarah Ball has been appointed Digital Editor of Tatler, it was announced yesterday. Sarah will take up her position on 23rd May.

Currently based in New York, Sarah will take up her new role in London. Sarah is at present Executive Editor of GQ.com, US GQ’s website, where she doubled its audience, says Conde Nast. Previously she was Senior Editor on US GQ print magazine and Deputy Editor of Vanityfair.com. She has also worked for Newsweek, both in print and online.

Kate Reardon, Editor of Tatler, says: “I am very excited to welcome Sarah to the Tatler team. Very excited indeed. She is funny, talented, experienced and very, very clever. Did I mention how excited I am?”

Sarah Ball adds, “I’m thrilled by the opportunity to work for Kate, and to make Tatler.com as richly entertaining and wildly fun as possible. Which I know will be wildly fun in itself.”

In addition to Sarah’s appointment, Annabelle Spranklen has been promoted to the newly created role of Deputy Digital Editor with immediate effect. Previously Acting Senior Editor of Tatler.com Annabelle’s promotion reflects the skill and expertise she has shown in developing the website over this time, say the publishers, which has included increasing unique users and homepage visits as well as growing Tatler’s social media followers.
